A work music playlist is one of many possible solutions that can help you stay focused and increase your productivity. Of course, it all depends on the type of work you are doing and if you have a love for music.
As someone who loves instrumental music, I’ve always found it soothing to the soul and body. With the many scientific studies and research out there being done on how music affects the human brain, it’s no surprise. It rids you of outside distractions and helps to eliminate or put order to the chaos in your mind, among other things.
My days are usually busy with various tasks that need to be worked on. Because things can change at any given time, reprioritizing is important.
In order to keep my focus, remain calm and relaxed for the most part and keep my productivity up, I’ve put together an instrumental playlist of soothing tunes that I listen to almost everyday while working. It started with only the classical pianist Yiruma and it’s been growing ever since. It’s now over four hours of soothing instrumental music.
It will continue to grow as I discover new tunes I’d like to add to it. It’s a mixture of classical, zen and even theatrical tunes. While it works wonders for my focus and concentration, I can’t guarantee that it will do the same for you. However, if you are someone who can find that type of relief through music, I encourage you to give the following playlist a try.
I am also very open to your recommendations on what works best for you and any tunes you think I should add to this list.
